Step back in time with us to the days of Prohibition when Old Forester held one of only six coveted medicinal licenses, “P-3.” Under the cover of medicinal necessity, we seized the opportunity to acquire barrels from shuttered distilleries, each with its own unique mash bill. These diverse barrels were then artfully blended and bottled as Old Forester.
